Gagdi project monitoring team on an assessment of the levels of work at some of the constituency and personal intervention projects with PKK

A team of the Aides of Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagditoday, carried out assessment visits to some of the Constituency and personal intervention projects sponsored by the member representing Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam in the House of Representatives, spread across the three local government areas that made up the Federal constituency.

The team led by the Director General of Gagdi Campaign Organisation Nde Paul Juryit, includes the lawmaker’s Senior Legislative Aide, Pharm Dagung Haruna Mizim, his PA, Barr Adamu Nuhu and some of his commission and personal aides. They visited some of the major points along Pankshin-Kabwir-Amper-Dengi road where the Member secured allocated the Sum of Sixteen Million Naira (#16,000,000) only to Federal Road Maintainance Agency (FERMA) to embark on the rehabilitation of potholes along the dilapidated road.

Chairmen of NURTW of Pankshin and Kanke and the secretary of the union in Kanam who were all at the road expressed their appreciation to the lawmaker for ameliorating the plight of commuters playing the road, and pledged their continued support and prayers for him to succeed.

It is worthy of note that the contract for the patching of the potholes was awarded to an indigenous firm owned by a contractor from the constituency. This is a significant departure from the past experiences where contracts in the constituency were awarded to outsiders, at the expense of competent indigenous companies.
