Leaders of Irigwe Land and Unknown Gun Men (“Fulani community” as reported by Bello Lukman of Unity Fm Jos) yesterday met with Governor Simon Bako Lalong in an effort to finding lasting solutions to the recurring violence in some areas of Bassa Local Government Area.
The meeting, which was held at the Government House Rayfield Jos, had the representatives of the two sides expressing readiness to forgive each other.
They further agreed to further sit together and fine tune issues causing conflict before coming up with a final document to sign a peace pact.
Lalong directed the peace building agency to follow up and midwife the process.

Now let’s talk about this, so whenever there’s an attack in the affected communities, reports will always have it that unknown gun men killed villagers but yesterday, a call for peace was brought up and suddenly, unknown gun men manufactured a name and met with the governor of plateau state
