The leadership of KADUNG YOUTH JOS BRANCH, has congratulated the APC Candidate for Plateau Central Senatorial Seat Hon. Diket Plang on his victory at the just concluded senatorial primaries.
The Chairman of the group Comrade Mwasha Habila Caleb, made the commendation today during a congratulatory visit held in his residential house in Rayfield, Jos.
According to him, Hon. Diket Plang need to be promoted to the National Assembly in Abuja, considering his political experiences and track record of performances in the past .
Furthermore, the group while describing the credibility of the APC Candidate, encouraged him on the need for adquate and better political representation to the people of the zone, if elected as Senator come 2023.
Equally , the group used to opportunity to sympathized with the Candidate and the entire Takkas Community over the death of their beloved sister and a daughter Miss Nankling Plang, who died on Tuesday 26 July, 2022 after a protracted illness. By this her burial is fixed for Saturday 30 July , 2022.
Responding, Hon. Diket Plang thanked the group for the visit, pledging to remain steadfast and resolute in his bid to give good representation to the people of Pankshin, Kanke, Kanam, Mangu, Bokkos in the National Assembly, most importantly the youths.
Earlier, a group known as DIKET PLANG FOR SENATE 2023 in Bokkos LGA, led by the Former Councilor of Daffo Ward, Hon. Akullung, had an interfaced with Hon. Diket Plang today.
Hon. Diket Plang, speaking to the members of the group that comprises Former Councilors, SAs, and Party Officials from Bokkos, expressed his readiness to work very closely with the group and the entire Central Zone in delivery good dividends of democracy to the electorates.
While thanking them for the meeting Hon. Diket Plang, promised to ensure incompleted federal projects in the zone are properly put in place. He also advised the people of the area to continue to live in peace with one another irrespective of religion and tribal barriers.
The group also congratulated him over the victory at the primaries and pledged for their continue support and loyalty towards a better results for APC in 2023 general elections.
During the meeting, there were various contributions from, Alhaji Hayatu Mainama, Hon. Sarah Lawrence, Hon. Samson Gideon among others.
