Hon. Diket Plang Had an Interface with Three Groups in Kanke LGA and Paid Visits in Pushit

Ahead of the 2023 forthcoming general election, the Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Plateau Central Senatorial District, Hon. Diket Plang held an interactive session with the leadership of the APC Workers Forum in Kanke LGA .

The high point of the discussion was the unanimous adoption of Hon. Diket Plang by the forum as their sole Candidate for the Senatorial seat.

The session which was held today 4 July 2022 at Kanke, saw the APC Candidate holding a frank discussion with the workers on their key challenges and areas of improvement from both sides.

Welcoming Hon. Diket Plang to the meeting, the leader of the forum, Comrade Dauda Bashar and Mrs Muyitmwa Gogol, thanked the candidate for honouring them and noted that he was the only Candidate who has deemed it fit to interface with them after the party’s Primaries election.

In his response, Hon. Diket assured the forum of his readiness to prioritize a good working relationship with the workers through the practice-based legislature on civil service rules

However, the Village Heads of Kanke LGA also gathered and prayed for Hon. Diket Plang , advising him to build a bridge of peace and unity across the zone if given the opportunity.

The Chiefs went down memory lane, recalling that the candidate has performed well when he was in the State Assembly, Representing Pankshin North Constituency.

The senatorial candidate in his brief remarks thanked the Chiefs for the kind prayers, saying he was in the race to change the leadership narrative of the zone.

The Candidate also met briefly with a women group in Kanke known as Ultimate Women for Diket Plang .

While speaking during the interface, the Kanke based Women described him as a politician of character, virtue and courage, pledging their full support.

Responding, Hon. Diket emphasised the importance of women in the socio-political activities of any given society, saying over the years they played critical roles in the development and changing of every community.

Furthermore, he emphasised that women would be highly integrated into his leadership.

To that end, there were comments

from the Former Supervisory Councillor of Agriculture kanke LGA Dogara Gopep who represented Hon. Emmanuel Lar Former Chairman Kanke LGA and Hon. Sam Mbok .

The Candidate on his way back to Jos, condoled with the Kyahar family over the loss of Mama Dakyau Kyahar who passed away on Wednesday as a result of an accident that she had some months ago .

Mama died at a reap age but we will miss her wise counsel .

In another development , he paid a courtesy visit to the District Head of Pushit Dah Dikyet Gupiya in his office in Pushit .

Hon. Diket Plang , while discussing with the District Head alongside his village heads , encouraged them to keep sustaining peace and security in the land as our boarders are becoming more porous and criminality is on the increase daily .
