Hon. Diket Plang , appreciated the clergies and members of COCIN family in Takkas Sub Zone of COCIN RCC Pushit , for organizing a combine prayer session in his honoured before the last APC primaries that led to his victory as well as the forthcoming victory in 2023 general elections .

Hon. Diket Plang , accompanied by his wife Prof. Janet Plang , while speaking during a unity service and the prayer session of the zone that comprised of 5 Local Church Councils , held at COCIN LCC Bumnan , called on the Church to continue to support and pray for the wellbeing and progress of our state and nation as prayer is the master key and there is no challenge that cannot be overcome without prayers .

He further said , peace is the catalyst for development noting that no any meaningful development can be achieved in atmosphere of rancor .

” If we live in peace with one another we are going to witness more developmental projects in our comuinity ” he added .

He stressed that , with God all things are possible , therefore , with God his Senatorial Candidature in 2023 is possible .

He further expressed his commitment in rendering quality service to God Almighty and humanity , if elected .

In his sermon , the Leader of the Sub Zone Rev . Nanpan Bulus , who read from the book of Palms Chapter 133 Verse 1-3 and Acts Chapter 2 Verse 46 , spoke on ” The power of unity .”

The service also featured a special prayer session to the candidate .

Thereafter , Hon. Diket Plang commiserates with the family of Baba Reuben of Gohfwang over the death of their daughter Miss Longret Reuben .

Late Longret , was buried today according to Christian rites at the family burial ground .

To that end , he prayed for the repose of the deceased and God to comfort the entire family over the great loss .
