It will be recalled that Hon. Alhassan Yakmut stepped down to Hon. Diket Plang during the last Senatorial APC Primary Election for Plateau Central Senatorial District.

The former aspirant Hon. Alhassan Yakmut has collapsed his political structure and support base to the party’s Senatorial Candidate Hon. Diket Plang.

Yakmut who took the decision in a meeting with the Candidate held at his house today, promised to work for the emergence of the Senatorial Candidate and the APC in the 2023 general elections.

Responding, Hon. Diket Plang commended the efforts of Yakmut for collapsing his support base to him, describing him as a humble and honest man who has the interest of the party at heart.

He further urged other politicians to emulate Yakmut’s example, adding that he will justify the kind gesture with a good representation if given the opportunity to serve in 2023.

In attendance during the meeting are the APC Chairman of Bokkos LGA Hon. Danjuma Manas, Elder Shitu Bamaiyi and Alh. Musa Indorama.
