The Elders Advisory Council of the Member Representing Pankshin/Kanke/ Kanam in the Federal House of Representatives, Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, Dan Malikin Kanam and Dan Majen Jahr, met with some selected stakeholders in Pankshin to establish a synergy towards encouraging the most outstanding representative to consolidate on his unprecedented records by offering him selfless pieces of advice and canvassing votes for him in the forthcoming General Elections.
The meeting which held behind close doors inside the magnificent Gagdi Foundation Support Hall at the premises of the Constituency Office was presided over by the Chairman of the Advisory Council of Pankshin LGA,Nde Joshua Waklek (Wazirin Pankshin) had in attendance the APC Chairmen from the twenty wards,Local Government party EXCO,Elected Councillors and the recently sworn in Supervisory Councillors.
Nde Waklek charged the said stakeholders to ensure the party stays afloat in the area by rallying support for all the APC candidates in 2023.He reiterated on the need for Gagdi to return to the National Assembly so as to avail him the opportunity to keep on with his exceptional representation.
The Wazirin Pankshin reiterated that the spectacular performance of Rt. Hon. Gagdi speaks volume, a reflection of fantastic representation. Noting that people should not wrongly use religion to devalue the performance of worthy elected citizens who attract dividends to their constituencies, as being demonstrated by Gagdi. People should therefore, not allow sentiments to misdirect them.
The elected councillors who spoke through their leader,Hon Aristakus Nanfwang Yamsat took time to enumerate the achievements of Gagdi,saying anyone using religion to discredit the Member’s achievements is not a lover of development and progress of the Constituency.The APC Chairman of Pankshin,Mr Tanimu Shikmuut who spoke on behalf of the LG EXCO was emphatic about loyalty to party and the need for stakeholders to deliver their various polling units to APC in 2023.Other speakers were Hon Denty Laven,the Deputy Chairman and Supervisory Councillor for Health and Mr Njot Clement Ishaya,the Chairman of Ward Chairmen.They both consolidated on earlier submissions, promising to put in their best in next year’s election.
Comrade Nanle Gujor ‘s (Secretary Gagdi Elders Advisory Council, Pankshin LGA) firm resolve to remain and work vigorously for APC was applauded by all in attendance.He said the emergence of Dr Nentawe Yilwada Goshuwe did not come to him as a surprise as he was aware of a research that had placed the Gubernatorial flagbearer ahead of others.He therefore urge electorates to put behind them the propaganda going round and focus on the credibility of Dr Nentawe and other APC Candidates for the various positions.
Admonishment s came in from the other members of the Pankshin Elders advisory Council.
This engagement gave the opportunity for inputs and advice from the invitees on how to effectively consolidate on the gains made by the Rt. Hon. Gagdi so far and as the 2023 Elections beckons for an overwhelming success.
