The visit was to felicitate with him over his emergence and victory at the All Progressives Congress primaries as party’s candidate for Plateau Central Senatorial District .

The Chairman of the group , Engr. Jacob Rume , while felicitating with him over the victory , assured him of their continue support .

He added that the smooth conduct of the election is an indication of what to expect in next year’s general elections .

However , the group , further described the candidate as a man of good character and value .

Responding , Hon. Diket Plang , thanked the group for identifying with him , adding to uphold the tenets of good representation and to build a strong partnership with the youths .

Also , ahead of the forthcoming general elections , youths of Mangu LGA , have recruited themselves as Door to Door Campaign Team .

The leader of the group , Comrade Adamu Bello , while speaking during a visit to Hon. Diket Plang , provided details of the group’s membership , he stated that the members are drawn across the political wards and units of the local government area .

He equally said ” our sole aim is to sell all the APC candidates to the electorates at the grassroots ”

In his statement , Hon. Diket Plang , expressed his gratitude to the group , promising to work closely with them .

To that end , Hon. Diket Plang , was among the delegation from Pankshin LGA that paid a congratulatory visit to the APC Governorship Candidate of Plateau State , Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda .
