While presenting the items, Barr (Mrs) Beatrice Dakas who spoke on behalf of the Foundation, said the gesture was necessitated by the present predicament of places visited as well as the adverse effect of the Coronavirus Pandemic which has halted economic activities and brought a huge strain in the daily livelihood of vulnerable persons in the state. She further encouraged the beneficiaries to put their trust in God and remain positive to better days ahead.
Mrs Dakas also called on the government and other well spirited individuals to emulate the effort of Prof. Dakas Foundation given the risk and health hazard in some of the places visited as she urged them to maintain good personal hygiene, adhere strictly to all set guidelines.
At the places visited, some of the beneficiaries were drawn to tears of joy and further appreciated the humanitarian intervention while thanking Dakas Foundation for identifying with them at their critical time of need.
