COVID-19 PLATEAU SITUATION REPORT

1. Reported cases today-3

3. Suspected cases today-1(specimens has been collected and sent)

6. Cumulative investigated-79

7. Pending cases-0

8. Confirmed cases-0

9. Total discharges-33

10. Number on self isolation-9

11. Number on admission-1(presently at the military hospital in Bassa LGA)

On filing this report, we were informed that the patient on admission is an asthmatic patient who came from Lagos. He has cough and his blood samples have been taken.

The ministry also expressed her challenges as people who came in from Lagos and Abuja are presently in hotels in the city. With attention drawn to the Ministry of Tourism, the health ministry has pleaded for cooperation between hotel owners and the ministry of tourism.

Also, the health ministry is presently training workers to administer great service of duty in the isolation wards. The NVRI has been set up as an accredited lab for suspected cases in the state.
