Ahead of the 2023 general elections, Hon Caleb Mutfwang of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won the ticket for Plateau State Gubernatorial Seat.

Mutfwang, who defeated eighteen aspirants to clinch the ticket, polled 252 votes as the result of the election are as follows:
