Adankala emerges chairman of Plateau State SUG Presidents’ Forum

The Plateau State SUG Presidents Forum has elected Joshua Danladi Adankala, SUG president of University of Jos, as its new chairman.

The election of Comr. Adankala was based on the “unity, Efforts in resolving the issues concerning the affairs of the students and transparency” he has brought to the students of Unijos, adding that the forum has the confidence that the UNIJOS SUG President would continue to build on the achievements of its past leaders.

He commended members of the forum and Delegates for electing him through a peaceful consensus process and urged the members of the committee to give him all the needed support to succeed.

The Plateau State SUG Presidents Forum will soon Convene a meeting to deliberate on the major issues affecting the campuses in the state and particularly the current challenges of ASUU strike which seems to be deteriorating, despite concerted efforts by the Federal Government.

The Forum as parts of its mandate would seek audience with relevant authorities and make adequate presentation to them on the true nature of the challenges great Nigerian students on the campuses in Plateau State are faced with.

The Forum elected the SUG President of University of Jos, Comr. Joshua Danladi Adankala as the New Chairman of the Plateau State SUG Presidents’ Forum with effect from June, 6th 2022.
